ΞBIODIUS offers PEG-coated glass beads filled spin column which are made by covalently attaching polyethylene glycol (PEG) polymers to the glass bead surface. Due to the brush-like structure of PEG functionalized glass bead surface, the bead's surface exhibits low non-specific absorption of proteins. The only classes of proteins that are prompt to interact with PEG ligands on the bead surface are the anti-PEG antibodies. Therefore, these PEG-coated glass beads are useful tools for the isolation and purification of PEG antibodies.
